Goodman & Gilman's The Pharmacological Basis of Therapeutics

Goodman & Gilman's The Pharmacological Basis of Therapeutics is an American textbook of pharmacology. First published in 1941, the book is in its twelfth edition (as of 2011), and has the reputation of being the "bible of pharmacology". The readership of this book include physicians of all therapeutic and surgical specialties, clinical pharmacologists, clinical research professionals and pharmacists.

The work is named after Louis S. Goodman and Alfred Gilman of Yale University, School of Medicine. The tenth edition features Alfred G. Gilman, the son of Alfred Gilman, as a contributing editor.
